The House is famous for its beautiful Art Nouveau interior designed by Stanisław Wyspiański in 1904-1905.
The main decorative motif is chestnut tree leaves, roses and geranium. Bright yellow and golden walls, wooden panelling, wrought iron banisters, paintings on the walls, lamps and furniture, particularly chairs, are elements of applied arts from the Young Poland period. The most important element of the interior was a stained-glass window which decorated the stairwell and depicted a scene “Apollo Spętany” (Apollo Bound), reconstructed from preserved sketches.
