- A series of special opera performances featuring famous singers from all over the world and famous opera ensembles. Apart from operatic works, the event also features ballet performances. The Summer Krakow Opera Festival presents the canons of the most outstanding operas. The diverse repertoire and the event’s programme give it an educational character. The presentation of works, from Verdi's romantic operas, through Wagner's musical drama to Puccini's most famous pieces, enables the participants to go on a journey through the history of the genre and see the variety of means of expression offered by such works. During the upcoming edition of the Summer Krakow Opera Festival, the participants will be able to listen to the premiere of Candide by Leonard Bernstein, the return of Il barbiere di Siviglia and three great concerts.
